18th Century White-Grey Swedish Gustavian Brass, Pinewood Grandfather Clock
A white-grey, antique Swedish Gustavian grandfather clock with very detailed brass and bronze décor, made of hand carved Pinewood, designed and produced by an unknown artist in Stockholm, in good condition. The clock bell was produced in London by an English watchmaker, decorated with a calendar on a white background, standing on a rectangular base, enhanced by wood carvings, particularized in the Neoclassical Greek style with the original brass hardware and key. Fully working. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1790, Stockholm, Sweden, Scandinavia.
