An antique hand thrown terra cotta bowl from Provence with a beautiful time worn patina.  This kind of large mixing bowl originated in the south of France. The bowl has a honey colored glazed interior and rim, the exterior in unglazed in terracotta finish. Two small ear handles adorn the bowl. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 19th Century, France
