19th Century German Biedermeier Polished Cherrywood Chest of Drawers
A 19th Century, antique German Biedermeier chest, commode made of hand crafted Cherrywood, shellac polished and partly veneered in good condition. The cupboard is composed with two large and one small drawer, consisting its original hardware and keys. The sideboard is particularized by black polished ebonized cross sections and flanking caryatids, standing on four detailed carved, partly gold-patinated paw feet. Restored, refurbished and hand polished. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1810 - 1820, Germany.
