An early 19th Century, antique Swedish Gustavian wall mirror made of hand crafted gilded Pinewood with its original mirrored glass, in good condition. This dedicated piece was designed, produced by an unknown artist from Stockholm and it was later restored and sold by JP Larsson in 1914. The particularized Scandinavian wall décor piece is enhanced by detailed flower wood carvings and fittings. Price tag, label at the back side. Model Nr. 0273. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1820 - 1840, Stockholm, Sweden, Scandinavia.
JP Larsson was a Swedish gilding company, founded in 1914, in Stockholm, Sweden by Johan Paulus Larsson. The business was closed in 2013, due bankruptcy. The company was specialized in creating new mirrors, gilded clocks and restoring older pieces. They also have designed different types of frames for antique paintings.
