19th Century Turkish Antique Massive Metal Anchor

A massive, antique Turkish anchor made of cast iron, in good condition. The large detailed metal décor piece was recovered from the ocean floor, 80 miles south of Izmir. Encrusted with barnacles and sea matter, partial chain attached. Minor loses, fading due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1858, Izmir, Turkey.
