19th Century Tuscan Heraldry Crest

A most impressive antique pair of coat of arms, hand painted in the Gris de Versailles technique on antique bulging outward pinewood shields originating from a Tuscan estate. The very decorative heraldry crests depict the typical symbols of nobility the fleurs de lys and the eagle and the upright lions surrounded by elaborate scrolls. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 19th Century, Italy.
