20th Century French Oakwood Freestanding Console Table by Jean-Michel Frank

A light-brown, vintage French Art Deco freestanding console table made of hand crafted polished Oakwood, designed most likely by Jean-Michel Frank in good condition. The rectangular side, end table is standing on four long square legs. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1910 - 1930, France.
Jean-Michel Frank was a French interior designer and decorator born in 1895, in Paris, France and passed away in 1941. In 1904, Frank attended the Lycee Janson academic institution in Paris and in 1911 he studied law until 1915. Frank showed his interest for interior design after being inspired by the artistic circles of Paris and Venice. He is considered one of the most influential designers and decorators of the Parisian haute-monde of the 1930s and 1940s.
