20th Century Gold Italian Brass, Frosted Opaline Glass Floor Lamp by Stilnovo

A gold, vintage Mid-Century modern Italian floor lamp made of hand crafted polished brass, designed and produced by Stilnovo, in good condition. The floor lamp is composed with six frosted opaline glass shades, each of the glass lights are halted by a short brass arm, supported by a long stem, standing on a round base, featuring a single light socket. The wires have been renewed. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1950 - 1960, Milan, Italy.

Stilnovo was an Italian lighting and design company founded in 1946 in Milan by the well-known Italian designer Bruno Gatta. During the Mid-Century Modern era the Stilnovo brand was one of the most pioneered lighting design companies in Italy, also known as the Stilnovo Period.
