A gold, vintage Mid-Century modern Italian full size floor mirror made of hand crafted gilded wrought iron with its original mirrored glass, designed by Pier Luigi Colli in good condition. The oval wall mirror is composed with a console table detailed by a thick etched glass top. The mirror is enhanced by floral decoration and soft ornamental lines. Circa 1940 - 1950, Turin, Italy.

Pier Luigi Colli was an Italian artist and designer, born in 1895, in Turin and passed away in 1968, Italy. Colli studied at the French university, The École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. After his studies, he returned to Italy, where he stared working in the family furniture business. Most of his pieces are representing the Parisian, Art Deco period, style. Colli often used very combined materials such as iron, brass, glass and wood. The company worked together with well known architects and designers, such as Gio Ponti, Giovanni Gariboldi, Carlo Mollino, etc. In 1980, the company was closed, making the furniture highly sought after.
