A black-white, vintage Mid-Century modern tall lady sculpture with a scarf, hat made of hand blown colored Murano glass, designed and produced by Licio Zanetti & Ermanno Nason in good condition. Signed at the bottom. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1950 - 1970, Italy.
Licio Zanetti was an Italian sculpture artist and designer. He founded Zanetti Murano in 1956. Zanetti's personal life and professional training remains lost in history.
Zanetti Murano is traditional Murano glass manufacturer family-run business, founded in 1956 by Licio Zanetti. Today the business is run in the forth generation.
Ermanno Nason was an Italian sculpture artist and designer, born in 1928, in Murano, Italy and passed away in 2013. At a very young age he started to learn the art behind creating, designing Murano glass sculptures, which he learned from his father. He finished his apprenticeship under the Italian glassmaker Abate Zanetti During his life time, Nason worked with many well-know designers and artist together, such as Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso, Max Erst, etc.
