20th Century Italian Five-Tiered Spiral Murano Glass Chandelier by Paolo Venini
A vintage Mid-Century Modern Italian chandelier made of a hand crafted brass frame and hand blown Murano glass with five tiers, designed by Paolo Venini in good condition. The wires have been renewed. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1930 - 1950, Milan, Italy.

Paolo Venini was an Italian lawyer and designer born in 1895 Cusano near Milan, Italy and passed away in 1959 Venice, Italy. In 1921, Venini opened a glass factory on the islands of Murano with his partner Giacomo Cappellin which they named Vetri Soffiati Muranesi Cappellin Venini & Co.
