A dark-blue, purple vintage Mid-Century modern Italian set of three Japanese farmers with a large clear hat made of hand blown colored, smoked Murano Sommerso glass, designed and produced by Archimede Seguso in good condition. The detailed décor pieces represent three women. Manufacture label at the bottom. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1950 - 1960, Italy.

The Seguso Familly is an Italian Murano glasswork, manufactor founded by Antonio Filius Seguxi in 1397 Venice, Italy. Until today, the Seguso Family is able to trace their uninterrupted lineage of glassmakers back over six centuries. In 1605, they were added to the Libro d’Oro of Murano. By 1792 the Seguso Family crest was imprinted on the osella coin of Venice. The Seguso Family is one of the most prestigious, historical and valued glass manufacturers in Venice.
