20th Century Italian Walnut Writing Table, Desk in the Manner of Carlo Ratti

A light-brown, vintage Mid-Century modern Italian writing table, desk made of hand carved polished Walnut, composed with two drawers in the manner of Carlo Ratti, in good condition. The desk top is angular on the smaller sides and the legs stand on round polished brass feet which are supported by iron struts. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1950, Milan, Italy.
Carlo Ratti was an Italian designer born and passed away in Italy. Ratti’s personal life and professional training remains lost in history.
