20th Century Light-Brown Swedish Teakwood Writing Table, Desk by David Rosén
A light-brown, vintage Mid-Century modern Swedish writing table, desk designed by David Rosen and produced by Nordiska Kompaniet. The Scandinavian bureau plat is composed with end extensions, made of hand carved Teakwood, enhanced by brass handles in good condition. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1950, Sweden, Scandinavia.
David Rosén was born in 1910 Sweden and passed away in 1993. His personal life and professional training remain lost in history. In the 1950s, Rosen designed and produced a wide array of case goods, tables and chairs, often brass-framed. One of his most famous work was for the Swedish designer company Nordiska Kompaniet was Futura, developed in 1949.
