A vintage Mid-Century modern Italian small desk lamp or table lamp made of lacquered metal and brass with a white adjustable oval lamp shade, featuring a one light socket. Produced by Stilnovo in good condition. The lamp neck is covered in dark brown, black leather. The wires have been renewed. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1950, Milan, Italy.

Stilnovo was an Italian lighting and design company founded in 1946 in Milan by the well-known Italian designer Bruno Gatta. During the Mid-Century Modern era the Stilnovo brand was one of the most pioneered lighting design companies in Italy, also known as the Stilnovo Period.
