A gold, antique pair of sensational late Renaissance/early Baroque sconces with original gilded patina, in good condition. These stately wall fragments are richly decorated with scrolls, leaves, and finished with a centered shell at the top, hand carved in Limewood. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1600, Italy.
