An late 19th Century 28” tall Biot garden jar from Provence. This handmade antique terra cotta clay olive jar originates from the small village Biot in Southern France. The handmade body is left in a natural light tone with ochre and green glazed drippings. This beautiful handmade stamped Mediterranean pottery is a collector item and very sought after. Drainage hole is provided. Wear consistent with age and use.
