An exceptional Gustavian drop front writing desk made of light grey painted Pine wood with a beautiful brass and bronze decoration. The hand carved writing desk is in very good condition, detailed in the Neoclassical Greek Style with the original hardware. Bureau features many small storage drawers within, and two large storage drawers. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1810 Stockholm, Sweden, Scandinavia.
