Large Spanish Lebrillo Bowl 1900

A very large antique Spanish Lebrillo mixing bowl in earthenware, made of hand crafted terra cotta, originating from Granada, Spain. Featuring a glaze decoration in the typical Morisco green over a milk-white glaze. A floral motif is painted onto the base of the bowl surrounded by leaves which end close to the rim, with an alternating squiggle border. In good condition with some Victorian pin repairs. Wear consistent with age and use.
