Late 19th Century Spanish Lebrillo Bowl

A very large antique Spanish Lebrillo ceramic bowl in earthenware, made of hand crafted terra cotta, originating from Granada, Spain. Featuring a glaze decoration in the typical Morisco green over a milk-white glaze with an alternating squiggle border. It is rare to find ship motif is painted onto the flat base of the bowl. Wear consistent with age and use.
