A unique Swedish Art Deco lounge chair in good condition, designed by Otto Schulz. Features a curved back, studs, mahogany legs and has been reupholstered in a white Pierre Frey fabric. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1930, Sweden, Scandinavia.

Otto Schulz was a German architect, designer and publisher born in Germany 1882 and passed away in 1970 Goeteborg, Sweden. Schulz studied at several architectural schools in Germany, at the Technical University in Charlottenberg and the Architectural School in Berlin. In 1907, Schulz moved to Gothenburg, Sweden and started working as a freelancer. Later in 1920, Schulz and Adolf Nordic Borg established their company Boet. Over the time, Schulz designed very opulent furnitures
