A vintage Mid-Century Modern Italian pair of newly upholstered lounge chairs with buttons on the backrest, the legs are made of handcrafted bronze. Designed by Marco Zanusso in good condition. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1960, Milan, Italy.
Marco Zanuso was an Italian architect and designer born in 1916 Milan, Italy and passed away in 2001. Zanuso trained in architecture at the Politecnico di Milano University, in 1945 he opened his own design office. In 1957, Zanuso partnered with the German designer Richard Sapper. Zanuso's work is most known for his broad spectrum from early experiments in bent metal to luxurious.
