20th Century Danish Set of Twelve Oakwood Dining Chairs by Nils & Eva Koppel
A vintage Mid-Century Modern Danish set of twelve dining chairs, designed by Nils and Eva Koppel for Slagelse Mobelvaerk, known for their chair models with large backs. The side chairs are newly upholstered and fumed with Oakwood, in good condition. Minor stain on of the chairs. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1940, Denmark, Scandinavia.

Eva Koppel was born in 1916 Copenhagen, Denmark and passed away in 2006 Denmark. Nils Koppel was born in 1914 Copenhagen, Denmark and passed away in 2009 Denmark. They were Danish designers and architects. They both worked together in Alvar Aalto’s studio in Finland. They both opened their own studio in 1946.
