An antique pair of late 19th Century Parisian Karyatides sculpted in French Plaster on a black wooden base. The female figures serve as an architectural support, taking the place of a column or pillar supporting an entablature on their heads, in good condition. Minor fading, due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. These figurines are from a French Palais. Circa 1890, Paris, Art Nouveau, France.
