A beautifully decorated 19th Century French weathervane with a zinc weathered patina. This antique decorative ornament is adorned with a pigeon and directional abbreviations in French N, S, E, and O. (Nord, Sud, Est, Ouest). The handcrafted roof finial is topped with a metal flag and raised on a round tapered base. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1860, France.
