A 19th Century style Italian garden statue in Tuscan terra cotta clay. This very decorative statuette shows a young boy barefoot fishing dressed in short pants with nicely detailed folds. The hat is placed over his curly hair. His facial expression is happy as he is holding the freshly caught fish tightly. The statue is raised on a short Tuscan plinth with podded décor. The heavy top rim and bottom rim are decorated with multiple bevels.  Hand modeled and fired out of the prestigious Italian Galestro terracotta clay.
