French Plaster Wall Reliefs

The plaster of Paris was first used in the 17th Century in Paris, France. The walls of wooden homes were traditionally covered with French plaster in order to protect them against fire. Today, the same technique is still used to replicate the grandeur of living spaces mainly through historical moldings, sculptures, and wall friezes. These few restorers are called to restore parts of artwork which had been damaged or if a complete restoration is needed. The objects are suitable for the interior only and are of lightweight. The collection of French plaster we offer is comprised of reeditions of important pieces which can be viewed throughout the most important museum in Europe.
