A vintage wall mount profile or relief of Alexander the Great molded and hand finished in French Plaster, in good condition. Interior use only, minor fading due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1970 - 1980, France.

Alexander the Great, the king of the ancient Greek kingdom of Macedonia. He was well known to invade and conquer many lands including the Persian Empire, Asia Minor. After the fall of Persia the Macedonia Empire held vast territories between the Adriatic and the Indus River. His settlement of the Greek colonists and Greek culture led to the dominance of Hellenistic civilization as far as the Indian subcontinent.
