An antique pair of late 18th Century Italian Baroque columns, hand carved from solid, partly gilded Pinewood and finished in their original antique gold leaf, in good condition. These ornate architectural pillars feature a dramatic twisting spiral design, richly embellished with carved grapevine, foliage, and floral motifs, iconic of Baroque period design. The Giltwood columns retain an aged, authentic patina, enhancing their historical character. Perfect for use as interior architectural décor, entryway columns, or as freestanding decorative accents in luxury residential or commercial settings. Minor fading, scratches due to age.
