19th Century Swedish Gustavian Extendable Antique Pinewood Dining Room Table
pe-1398
An early 19th Century Swedish Gustavian extendable dining room table made of hand crafted painted Pinewood, in good condition. This Scandinavian round pull-out table features four extension leaves, allowing it to convert easily from an intimate dining table to a grand conference or banquet table. The table rests on eight finely carved baluster legs, a hallmark of the Gustavian neoclassical style, all supported by the original chrome caster wheels for effortless movement. The painted finish has developed a soft, timeworn patina, enhancing its antique appeal. A timeless piece, ideal for formal dining rooms, large gatherings, or design-conscious meeting spaces. Restored and refurbished. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1830 - 1840, Sweden, Scandinavia.
