A vintage wall relief or bas relief of the symbol of Venice The winged Lion of Saint Mark " carved by hand in limestone. The lion proudly stands on a ledge with open wings, resting its front paw onto the Bible. It depicts Mark the Evangelist in the form of a winged lion holding the Bible. it represent magnificence and power. Still today the ancient bronze sculpture can be seen in the Piazza San Marco  of Venice Italy.
