19th Century French Carved Root Wood Jardiniere

A late 19th Century antique jardiniere or plant stand made of handcrafted root wood. The tapered planter box of tapered shape has a meticulously crafted floral decoration and wooden scales. The plantstand in the shape of a Menorah is adorned with flowers and wood scales decoration. The rectangular base lends additional stability. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1900, Northern France.
