19th Century British Antique Victorian Two-Part Pinewood Secretary Cabinet

An early 19th Century, antique British Victorian two-part secretary made of hand crafted painted Pinewood, in good condition. The English secretaire is particularized on the top with a swan-neck pediment. The glazed upper cabinet is composed with two glass doors, detailed with diamond muntins, the brown-red painted interior consists of two adjustable shelves. The lower section of the cupboard consists of a slanted writing flap and four drawers, embellished by its original polished brass hardware and pulls, keys. Thedark-painted finish with authentic patina adds a strong historical character to this distinguished piece. Refurbished. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1840 - 1860, England.
