The footed, bulbous shaped Provencal Anduze garden planter urn is hand-thrown in France. The Anduze Flamme citrus pot has vibrant streaks of pale yellow, green, and brown that reflect the natural color palette of the south of France. Each terra-cotta clay urn or planter is handmade in Provence, France. A drainage hole is provided; size and finish may vary. This planter is not frost.

The iconic Anduze urn traces its origins to the early 17th century, during the reign of King Henry IV. Inspired by the classical elegance of the Medici urn from Florence, a French potter in the town of Anduze blended Italian Renaissance design with Provençal craftsmanship to create the first hand-thrown terracotta urn in Southern France. Over time, the Anduze pot became a hallmark of French garden style, admired for its graceful silhouette, durability, and decorative charm.
