A large scale traditional Pithari jar from the 19th Century. This antique Mediterranean pottery was hand-thrown and fired centuries ago. The classic amphora form with its ring décor and three ear handles originated in Greek pottery thousands of years ago. The earthenware Olive Jars add a timeless decoration to the home and garden. Weathered condition, wear consistent with age and use.
