An antique Swedish Gustavian-style day bed/ Sofa bench in painted pinewood, in good condition. This freestanding Scandinavian bench features a tall spindle back and armrests, and a beautifully aged painted finish in soft grey-blue tones with timeworn patina. The frame is detailed with refined Neoclassical carving and supported by tapered, fluted legs.

Elegant in proportion and timeless in character, this piece works beautifully as seating in an entryway, living room, sunroom, or at the foot of a bed. Minor fading, scratches, and wear consistent with age and use.
