A pair of 19th century French Napoleon III lounge chairs, crafted from hand-carved walnut and newly reupholstered in an indigo blue striped grain sack organic linen. Each fauteuil features a tall, gently inclined backrest with generous armrests, resting on four short, carved wooden feet finished in a deep brown.

Refined yet relaxed in character, these chairs lend themselves beautifully to a coastal or Provençal-inspired interior. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1850–1860, France.
