Early 20th Century, a rare pair of French garden planters in the shape of a swan. The limestone bodies of the jardinieres have a beautifully carved shell design, and the necks of the sculptures are elegantly curved. The hand-carved limestone garden ornaments have been carved from a solid block of stone. Warm, weathered patina, wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1910, France.
