A set of four allegorical garden statues each representing a traditional season. Each of the hand carved female statuary is carved out of one block of Italian limestone. Depicting with sculpted robes draped loosely around their bodies. Each stone sculpture is shown with a traditional indicator of the specific season it represents: Spring with flower blossoms, Summer with a sheaf of harvested wheat, Autumn with bundles of grapes and Winter with a lit torch. Natural weathered patina, circa late 20th Century, Originates from a private collection in Northern Italy.
