A 19th Century set of Orientalist busts vividly hand crafted in terra cotta clay, in good condition. These detailed antique French busts are executed in the manner of Charles Henri Joseph Cordier (1827-1905). The heads are in a slightly lifted position and are facing each other. Nicely weathered patina. Wear consistent with age and use.

Similar to this pair can be seen in the Musee d’ Histoire Naturelle in Paris, France.
