Square wellhead basin hand sculpted in stone in the Renaissance style. The tapered formed bodice has a circular bottom and square top. The well has beautifully carved protruding corner details of hand carved Acanthus leaves and large centered rosettes and coat of arms. A hand forged scrolled iron overthrow with pulley and chain and the heavy square limestone base are included. The heavily weathered patina adds charm to the architectural garden ornament.
