An antique Portuguese wall relief or sopra porte made of Pinewood, in good condition. The Baroque wall panel was hand carved and is richly ornate with large gilded detailed scrolls, Acanthus leaves and masks. The architectural wall antique has a finely edged geometrical design and remnants of historical paint. Authentic and naturally aged patina add to the charm. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 17th - 18th Century, Prov. Portugal.
