A large red marble fountain (Cottanello Antico) from a private collection in Italy. The exterior of the basin has carved petals and is topped with an overhanging band of egg and dart. The center of the shallow bowl has a drill hole at the square plinth and is positioned on a fluted stem base. Circa 17th Century Rome, Italy
