Late 18th Century, a mythological sheep garden statue is intended for the garden or exterior. The antique German sculpture is hand carved in sandstone and in good condition according to the age. The left ear, and parts of the base were added at a later date than the statue. The surface is partially overgrown and patinated with lichens and moss. Minor fading, due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1780, Southern Germany.
