A late 18th Century, antique Louis Seize period mirror in carved wood with gilded accents and foliage motifs, consisting its original mirror glass, in good condition. Created in France during the reign of Louis XVI. The frame features an exquisite carved crest. The mirror plate is surrounded by a linear frame adorned with a continuous bead motif and carved rosettes, while the garlands complete the ensemble. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1780, France.
