18th Century Green French Three Seater Beechwood, Velour Sofa by Sulpice Brizard
pe-1009
An 18th Century French three seater sofa, stamped Sulpice Brizard (Master 1762) 1735-1796. The hand crafted Parisian settee has a partial crafted, painted grey Beechwood frame, in good condition. Newly upholstered in a green velour from Lelièvre Paris. This antique canapé is a brilliant example of Brizard’s talent in combining elegance, proportions and the fine detail of the carvings. Minor fading, due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1770, Paris, France.
