18th Century Green French Three Seater Beechwood, Velour Sofa by Sulpice Brizard
An 18th Century French three seater sofa, stamped Sulpice Brizard (Master 1762) 1735-1796. The hand crafted Parisian settee has a partial carved, painted grey Beechwood frame, in good condition. Newly upholstered in a green velour from Lelièvre Paris. This antique canapé is a brilliant example of Brizard’s talent in combining elegance, proportions and the fine detail of the carvings. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1770, Paris, France.
