18th Century Lebrillo Bowl from Granada

A large antique Spanish Lebrillo mixing bowl in earthenware, made of hand crafted terra cotta, originating from Granada, Spain. Featuring a glaze decoration in the typical Morisco green over a milk-white glaze. A flower motif is painted onto the base of the bowl surrounded close to the rim, with an alternating squiggle border. Wear consistent with age and use.
