18th Century Lebrillo Bowl

An original Spanish Lebrillo mixing bowl in earthenware, made of hand crafted terra cotta, originating from Granada, Spain. Featuring a more faded glaze decoration in the typical Morisco green over a milk-white glaze. A floral motif surrounded by scrolls is painted onto the flat base of the bowl surrounded close to the rim, with an alternating squiggle border. Wear consistent with age and use.
