An antique Italian Passata Bowl. These traditional and beautiful hand thrown terra cotta bowls from Puglia were used to make the homemade tomato sauce or to wash olives. These rustic handmade bowls have a pale unglazed exterior. The glazed interior has a cream base with a splattered muted green design. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 19th Century
